— Application Process —

Round 1 is the application process wherein we will select three community projects within each category to compete in the Regional Workshops:

 
 

— Eligibility Requirements —

U.S. Exchange Alumni who have registered with the U.S. State Department are eligible to submit a community project for the Global Exchange Summit.


— Social Impact —

Winners will receive $10,000 Grand Prizes to bolster the social impact of U.S. Exchange Alumni within their respective countries or local communities.


— Selection Process —

The Global Exchange Network will select community projects using the following criteria:

  1. Sustainable Development: The Global Exchange Network will select community projects that have successfully addressed the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.

  2. Perseverance: The Global Exchange Network will select community projects that have overcome difficult circumstances or unexpected setbacks in their country or local community.

  3. Grassroots Support: The Global Exchange Network will select community projects that have earned the trust, respect, and support of the people and local communities they serve.

  4. Social Impact: The Global Exchange Network will select community projects that will use the $10,000 Grand Prize to bolster their social impact in their country or local community.


— Informational Session —

The Global Exchange Network will host an informational session for the Global Exchange Summit on February 1, 2022. Stay tuned for additional information.


— Submission Deadline —

U.S. Exchange Alumni are required to submit application materials by March 1, 2022 to be considered for the Global Exchange Summit.
